VSU Small Farm Outreach Program is pleased to host this introductory course from the New, Beginning & U.S. Military Veteran Farmer and Rancher Program for those interested in starting a farm operation or who have been farming for less than 10 years and want to find resources to grow and strengthen their operation.

Whole Farm Planning puts beginning farmers in a good position to maintain or improve profitability while enhancing their sustainability. Whole Farm Planning helps beginning farmers define long- and short-term goals to help you achieve a better quality of life at home and in your community.

•Cooperative Extension Agents for the county who can connect you with local resources
